Whether you're buying a fully-configured car computer or an just an LCD monitor, we are constantly updating product pages with the most comprehensive and up-to-date specification (sometimes more up-to-date than the manufacturer!).
· Only at Car Computer will you find in-depth datasheets for LCD panels, user manuals and even 3D views of the products we sell. We care about each product we sell, and therefore we make it a point to make every possible piece of information available to our customers, and maintain the quality of information.
· At Car Computer, we continually check the market to ensure that we are offering the most competitive prices for all our products, but we also pride ourselves in our personal, friendly and efficient service.
· Our company is based in the UK. All of our stock is held in the UK which allows for quick and low cost delivery throughout Europe. Dealing with returns is also a much more efficient process.
· Our local-rate telephone number means that if you have any questions, before or after you have purchased a product from us, you will be able to speak to a member of staff to clear up any uncertainties.
· Our staff includes of a team of electronics engineers who have studied all of the products we sell, particularly our range of car computers, so can offer installation advice and can repair faulty components quickly.
· Should you require any spares or replacement components for a product purchased from Car Computer, we keep large stocks of spares in the UK, so there is no waiting around for replacement touch panels or controller boards!
· Ordering from Car Computer is safe and secure. All transactions are carried out over our secure server, and each order is verified by a member of our staff.
· When you place an order with Car Computer, your credit card will be charged by Lilliput UK Ltd, our parent company.
· All orders are dispatched same day on a 24-hour delivery using Interlink Express or Royal Mail (depending on weight of items), based on stock availability. If an order is placed and we do not currently have stock of the item, a member of our staff will contact you immediately to inform you of the expected lead time. From here, you can continue with your order and receive the goods when they arrive in stock, or you can simply cancel your order.
· All items purchased from Car Computer have a 12 month return-to-base warranty (unless stated otherwise in the product description).
· If for any reason you wish to return your unused item, we will refund you on the cost of the item on the following basis: 1/ the original cellophane wrapping (if applicable) is still in tact, 2/ the surrounding packaging is in the condition you received it in, 3/ the unused item is returned within 7 working days from purchase, and 4/ the unused item is in resaleable condition.
· By removing the housing or enclosure of any item purchased from Car Computer, this will void the products warranty. We appreciate that in certain situations you will need to modify the product and remove it from its housing, so if you do damage a certain component, we aim to keep stock of spares so that the problem can be remedied at a low cost.
· The Car Computer 'dead pixel' policy is as follows: We require our suppliers to adhere to the ISO 13406-2 standard, but due to current LCD manufacturing procedures it is not yet possible to guarantee that our displays will be free of dead pixels. Therefore, if you have received a display with one dead pixel, we are unfortunately unable to replace it. This applies to all sized displays over 3.5 inches in diameter. If your display has 3+ dead pixels, this is covered by your warranty and we will be happy to replace it.
· It is our company policy to verify each order and test every single product prior to dispatch, greatly reducing our 'dead on arrival' rate and ultimately keeping our customers happy.

· When returning any item, please send all supplied cables and accessories. This is to test that the cables and other accessories are not at fault.
